Your Privacy Rights

1.General principles
The Company is absolutely committed to protecting the privacy of our customers, business contacts and employees (hereinafter collectively referred to as “our customers and others”). We will ensure that every conceivable effort is made to protect personal information, as a matter of utmost importance to our business operations. The Company will comply with all applicable laws in respect of protecting personal information. We will handle information correctly and securely, and by doing so, protect the information of our customers and others in a manner deserving of their trust. Personal information will be handled as follows, unless required by law or as otherwise provided by internal regulations of the Company.
2.How we use your personal information
Personal information will only be used by the Company with prior consent from our customers and others. The purpose of use will be clearly defined within the conducts of business, and such personal information will only be used to the extent deemed necessary to achieve this purpose.
3.How we collect your information
  1. We will collect personal information in a legal and fair manner.
  2. When we collect personal information, whether directly or indirectly, we will ask for consent to our customers and others, notifying the purpose of use and other such uses.
4.Protecting your personal information
  1. Personal data will be handled correctly, with up to date content.
  2. We will take necessary and appropriate precautions as outlined below, to safeguard your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, loss and misuse.
  • Responsibilities and authorizations of our employees will be clearly set out for the saeguarding of information. Guidelines and protocols for the safekeeping of information will be enforced, and their implementation will be checked.
  • We will educate and train our employees on the execution of non-disclosure agreements when dealing with personal data that is designated as confidential.
  • We will enforce measures to manage entrances and exits to rooms and buildings for the prevention of theft, loss and misuse of personal data.
  • We will enforce technical measures to protect personal data, by restricting access to data and the IT system that processes the data, providing countermeasures for malicious software, monitoring the IT system and other such actions.
5.Sharing personal information with third parties
Personal information will not be shared with any third party, unless with prior consent.
6.Rights regarding the personal information of our customers and others
  1. We will declare the purpose of use and any such items required by law or set out in our internal regulation, in regards to the personal data that we hold.
  2. If our customers and others request for their personal data held by us to be revealed, the relevant data will be disclosed without delay.
  3. If our customers and others request changes, additions or deletions to their personal data held by us, relevant checks will be made without delay and, depending on the outcome of the check, make relevant alterations to the personal data.
  4. If our customers and others request for our discontinuation of using their personal information or its deletion, we will do so accordingly without delay.
  5. If our customers and others request for our discontinuation of sharing personal data to any third parties, we will stop accordingly without delay.
7.Prohibition of collecting specific details of personal information
  1. We will not collect, use or share the following details of your personal information. However, the collection, use and sharing of these details are not restricted if you give explicit consent, if they are required by law, or if they are necessary for judiciary proceedings.
  • Ideology, philosophy and religious beliefs.
  • Any matters that may cause social discrimination such as ethnicity, descent, domicile of origin, physical and mental disabilities and criminal records.
  • Any matters regarding the right to organize, collective bargaining and other actions of unions.
  • Participation in demonstrations, exercising the right for petition or any such assertions of political rights.
  • Healthcare and sexual life
8.Shared use and consignment of personal information
  1. In cases where we will consign the handling of personal information, in part or as a whole, to achieve the purpose of use within the bounds set out, we will investigate if the consignee is in accordance with the regulations of the Company, and exchanges of contracts along with other such measures will be taken as required by law.
  2. We will notify our customers and others of the following items, in advance, in cases of shared use of personal data with a specified party.
  • Intent of shared use.
  • Items of the personal data that will be shared
  • Bounds within which the specified party will use shared information
  • Purpose of use by parties using the information
  • Name of the party or person responsible in managing the relevant personal information data
